Overview
The Cyber Risk Health Check gives organisations a straightforward view of their current cyber security position without requiring a major technical audit. It focuses on how key risks are understood and managed across people, processes, governance and commonly expected security controls.
The aim is to help management identify where the organisation may be exposed and decide what should be prioritised. It provides an accessible starting point for businesses that know cyber security matters but may not know where their biggest weaknesses lie.

This service is for:

- Organisations wanting an independent view of their cyber risk

This is a high-level risk and governance assessment and does not include penetration testing, vulnerability scanning or detailed technical configuration testing.
OSP will:
- Issue a structured pre-assessment questionnaire
- Hold a discovery meeting
- Review agreed policies and supporting documentation
- Consider areas such as governance, access, staff awareness, backups, incident response, suppliers and resilience
- Identify key risks and weaknesses
- Provide a practical maturity or RAG assessment
- Produce prioritised recommendations
- Present the findings to management
You will:
- Complete the questionnaire
- Provide requested documentation
- Ensure relevant management and/or IT personnel participate
- Provide an accurate description of existing controls
Typical delivery:
- 1–2 weeks from receipt of the required information, involving approximately 1–2 days of OSP consultancy time
